Between 2020 and 2024, Mr. Łukasz Kamil Kamiński collaborated with the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews on a number of educational film projects. His involvement spanned all stages of production – from initial concept work through to shooting, editing and post-production.
Mr. Kamiński brought to these projects a rich background in filmmaking, a high level of professionalism, and an openness to creative challenges. Each film stood out for its strong visual quality and a coherent, thoughtful narrative — elements crucial to the Museum’s educational mission. Particularly noteworthy is Mr. Kamiński’s ability to select expressive tools tailored to his audience, as well as his talent for weaving together a range of cinematic styles — from documentary and animation to elements of visual essay. His work shows both a strong awareness of contemporary trends in audiovisual storytelling and the skill to apply them meaningfully in service of an educational message.
The collaboration was engaging and smooth throughout, and all planned activities were completed on time and to a high standard. I wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Łukasz Kamil Kamiński as a reliable partner in developing educational and socially engaged film projects — especially where artistic quality must go hand-in-hand with sensitivity to the subject matter.

Between 2008 and 2019, I had the pleasure of working with Łukasz Kamil Kamiński, during which time he carried out or co-conducted over 60 biographical interviews recorded as part of the Oral History Archive’s documentation projects at the History Meeting House and its partner institutions. In the projects Dimensions of Identity of the Polish Diaspora in Georgia: Poles from Tbilisi, Akhaltsikhe and Lagodekhi and Sunken Villages, he combined the art of biographical storytelling with the creation of compelling documentary-reportage films.
Łukasz is not only a filmmaker, but also a true historian at heart — approaching his work with professionalism, deep respect, and genuine warmth toward people. He is an attentive listener and a perceptive observer, able to build trust and uncover the nuances of a story. His rare ability to immerse himself in complex historical topics and translate them into original, moving visual narratives sets him apart in his field.
Based on my experience working with Łukasz Kamil Kamiński, I wholeheartedly recommend him as a committed and dependable filmmaker. His skills, combined with his openness toward others and his boundless curiosity about the world, make him an invaluable partner in exploring complex historical and emotional subjects.
